About the Program

The Market Readiness Program helps technology companies develop skills to maximize successful execution in market entry, product launch and revenue growth. The program is designed for technology executives (CEO, VP Sales, VP Business Development, COO, and CFO) who are responsible for revenue growth.

The program uniquely combines a comprehensive go-to-market curriculum, applied learning, access to experts, and one-on-one mentoring. At the end of this program, a participating company will have completed a comprehensive Go-to-Market Plan for the upcoming year, including:

  • a Strategic Marketing Plan, featuring positioning and pricing
  • a Market Implementation Plan, featuring marketing campaigns and channel programs
The Market Readiness Program is offered to groups of companies concurrently to maximize the potential of peer discussions and peer review. Custom training programs for a single company are possible, and in the past elements of the curriculum have also been licensed for company or channel training manuals.

Current Programs

Alberta

From October 2008 to March 2009, the Market Readiness Program was offered as a "Go-to-Market" program by Calgary Technologies.

British Columbia

The next Market Readiness Program is scheduled for Fall 2009. As usual, the number of companies we allow into the program is limited (there is an emphasis on quality of interactions between companies and mentors/instructors). The typical cost for preparation of a Go-to-Market plan by a consulting company would exceed $25,000. The usual cost of this program is $6,500 per company (but discounts to companies have been made possible in past due to contributions from government funding agencies as "commercialization jumpstart" initiatives)
